Most Spanish campsite have modern up-to-date facilities and are located close to major cities and towns, so you’ll never be too far away from civilization.
Camping on the beach is not actually allowed in most areas (even though it is widely practiced). If you’re lucky, free camping areas can sometimes be found near the national parks.
